Uberrima fides

“Utmost good faith”, as in a duty of, in relation to matters such as disclosure of documents in ex parte (without notice) applications, declarations of material facts for insurance contracts etc.

Sometimes expressed as a “duty of candour”. Such a duty also requires the parties in judicial review to provide full and accurate explanations of all the facts relevant to the issues.
