University of Oslo, Norway at night

This year the International Association of Law Libraries (IALL) is holding its 42nd Annual Course and conference on the campus of the Faculty of Law of the University of Oslo, Norway, from 16 to 20 June 2024.

As ever, ICLR is delighted to be sponsoring this year’s conference, whose theme is:

‘From Vikings to Autonomous ships’

Past, present and future law in a Norwegian and International Perspective

This edition of the IALL annual course will take you on a journey through 1000 years, from the vikings and their legal system and how it developed into the legal system we have today, including artificial intelligence and autonomous ships.

The conference venue is located on the campus of the Faculty of Law of the University of Oslo, in the middle of the city center. The Royal Palace, the Storting and the Supreme Court are within a short walking distance.

Come and visit ICLR in the exhibitors’ area and meet “the two Pauls”:

Paul Magrath, Head of Product Development and Online Content

Paul Hastings, Global Account Manager

We can tell you about the latest developments with our case law research platform ICLR.4, including our AI driven case research tool Case Genie and the new AI-generated case summaries from Jurisage that help you sift through unreported judgments.
