Cases reported in The Law Reports (Appeal Cases (AC), Queen’s Bench (QB), Chancery (Ch) and Family (Fam) series) are required to be cited in the senior courts of civil jurisdiction in preference for any alternative version of the case: Practice Direction (Citation of Authorities) [2012] 1 WLR 780; [2012] 2 All ER 255, Sen Cts (para 6).
